If you’re in the mood for a cozy breakfast spot that captures the essence of diner charm, look no further than Woodinville Cafe. Nestled at 14170 NE Woodinville Duvall Rd, this little gem serves up hearty breakfasts that are sure to delight the palate. With a welcoming atmosphere that exudes warmth and nostalgia, you’ll feel right at home the moment you step inside.

Woodinville Cafe offers a diverse breakfast menu highlighted by their scrumptious Golden Griddles. Imagine indulging in their Triple Fruit French Toast, piled high with fresh strawberries, blueberries, and luscious banana slices, all crowned with real whipped cream. Or perhaps you’d prefer the rich and inviting Almond Crunch French Toast, served with its heavenly combination of a golden almond coating, brown sugar, and nutmeg that takes your taste buds on a delightful journey.

Pancake lovers, rejoice! The Lemon Blueberry Pancakes are a must-try, featuring fluffy buttermilk pancakes drizzled with a delicate lemon cream cheese frosting that strikes a perfect balance between sweet and tangy. Not to mention, their Berry Blintz crêpes—stuffed with a lemon blintz filling and topped with fresh fruit—provide a sweet start reminiscent of a cozy café in France.

One of the highlights of dining here is the friendly service that complements the delicious food. Customers frequently rave about the warmth and attentiveness of the staff, evident in a review by Marco, who appreciated the great portions and diverse options despite a bit of a wait. The ambiance of the café, resembling a train diner, adds a unique twist that enhances your breakfast experience, as expressed by Michael Ruvinov, who felt transported to a nostalgic dining car setting.

For those seeking something savory, the Corned Beef Hash is a standout, made with thoughtfully cooked corned beef rather than the dreaded canned variety. Dive into the Huevos Rancheros or a classic veggie omelette, which have won the hearts of many for their balanced flavors and quality ingredients.

The café can get quite busy, especially on weekends, so arriving early is a wise choice to avoid long waits. However, as mentioned by Misha Smith, the anticipation is well worth it when you can savor their famous biscuits and gravy, perfect for sharing alongside a side of perfectly crispy bacon.

With its stellar breakfast offerings and charming ambiance, Woodinville Cafe creates an experience that’s inviting for families, friends, and anyone in need of a delicious morning meal. Whether you’re a local or just passing through, make this your go-to destination to kick-start your day with comfort food that warms the soul.

Putting aside that it took 45min to get a table, it was a great place to eat. The food was tasty, great portions, good options and something for everyone. I had the hobo special, which I really enjoyed. The service was also great! I’m normally not crazy about diners but this one is better than most. I would go again assuming I go earlier to beat the crowds.

Great little diner. Corned Beef Hash with Sunny side up egg - chopped corned beef hash instead of the canned one. It was good other than the beef being too tough and chewy. Chicken fried steak- crispy fried and gravy was yummy. Came with a biscuit and gravy on the side. Biscuit are usually dried and dense This place’s biscuit is fluffy and very tasty. Think of it as the croissant but in biscuit form. Highly recommended

Everything here was very comforting for a breakfast, minus the food. I tried making their vegetarian options vegan, but the waitress, who was very considerate, made it clear that the bread is not guaranteed to be vegan. The only option here for breakfast for vegans was oatmeal cooked with water that comes with fresh fruit. You also get a side of brown sugar or you can ask for maple syrup which was kind of watery... Loved everything but the food unfortunately, so much potential to just make a few vegan breakfast options! The rest of my omnivorous family thoroughly enjoyed their meals.

We arrived early enough to avoid the usual long wait, but by the time we left, the line had started forming—definitely a sign of a popular spot! I’m very particular about my gravy, so I appreciated that our server graciously let us sample it before ordering. It had real flavor—not just flour and pepper—so we went ahead and shared the biscuits and gravy with eggs. You also get a choice of four bacon or four sausage, and we were able to split two of each. The portions are huge—plenty for the two of us, and honestly, still more than we could finish! The food came out quickly, the staff was incredibly friendly, and the service was top-notch. The decor is super cute, giving off that old-school café vibe that feels warm and welcoming. If you love classic diners with great food and a cozy atmosphere, I’d definitely recommend Woodinville Café. Thank you for the great service! We’ll be back.

We saw this place many times and decided to give it a try. Wait times are long, we waited about 30-40 min so getting on the waitlist is recommended. We walked in and were BLOWN away. The interior looks like a train, and we felt as if we were in the dining car of a real train! The food was absolutely delicious! Bold move to serve banana bread with eggs, but it was delicious. The biggest takeaway was the fruit cup. Instead of cantaloupe and melon (which personally I don’t like) in a little plastic cup it was a REAL bowl with strawberries, bananas and blueberries. 5 stars.

The food was great. The hash browns were not oily like most restaurants. We ordered Huevos Rancheros and veggie omelette. They both were tasty, not too much cheese like iHOP.

We visited Woodinville Cafe on a Friday morning around 9:20am, and it was already bustling. The hostess quoted a 5–10 minute wait, which was spot on. We’re visiting from out of town and staying nearby, so it was a convenient choice. The food was good, though a bit pricier than other breakfast spots we’ve been to. I had the avocado toast (it's half a piece of toast) with pancakes, plus a side of hash browns and coffee. My husband ordered the biscuits and gravy, which came with eggs and bacon. Despite the busy atmosphere, our meals arrived quickly, and everything was hot and fresh. Our server was attentive and friendly, making sure we had everything we needed. By the time we left, the cafe was even busier, with people waiting outside—always a good sign!
